27 Sept,Kathamndu: Nepal Press Union, Kathmandu chapter has decided to exert pressure on the government for implementing the minimum wages fixed for working journalists.
A meeting of the chapter held here today under the chair of its president Nakul Aryal decided this.
Besides, the meeting, expressing concerns over difficulties being faced by media persons during the collections of news reports at the Office of President and the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, demanded the government ease the atmosphere for news reporting in such places.
More, the Chapter is to pressurise those media house hiring journalists without appointment letter for immediately providing them with appointment letter. RSS
